Procedure to Record a TV Show with Charter DVR

You can either use the arrow keys or press “Page +” or “Page –” keys on the remote to navigate through the programs. Steps to Change the Scheduled Recordings
First, you need to press the “My DVR” button available on your remote control, which will show up the My DVR screen.
Navigate through different scheduled recordings by pressing the arrow buttons available on your remote until you find the show that you wish to edit. After finding the desired show, highlight it and then, press “OK” button on your remote to bring forth the schedule settings.
Choose the “Modify Recording Settings” icon, displayed as a wrench. Now, you can modify the existing scheduling settings.
Next, choose the “X” icon to call all the scheduled recording off. This step cannot be undone, So, before taking this action, make sure that you really want to cancel the recording.
Now, simply press the “R” button on your remote to save these channels after finishing the cancellation.
Procedure to Access and Watch Programs You Recorded
First of all, you have to press “My DVR” button that you can find on your Charter remote. It will open the DVR menu.
To navigate through the different recorded content, simply press the arrow buttons available on your remote.
Now, look for the recording that you wish to watch and highlight it. Then, press the “OK” button on your remote. After this, press the “Play” button to start playing the recording. In case you have watched that show earlier, then DVR may ask to start the recording from the beginning or just restart it from the point where you left off.
To skip or review the content, you can use the “Rew” or “Ffwd” buttons on the remote. Also, to stop playing the show, you can press the “Stop” button.

You can pause a live show by pressing the “Pause” button on your remote. When you pause a live show, it starts recording until the buffer is filled.
If you want to resume the live show from the point where you left off, you can do this by pressing the “Play” button on your remote. You can also press “Live” if you want to catch up to the live TV broadcast.
To review the last few minutes of Live television, simply press the “Rew” button on the remote. And, to fast-forward the recorded show, press the “Ffwd” button.
